Table-topping German side eye Durm
Cologne want to sign Huddersfield Town defender Erik Durm as they bid to return to the Bundesliga, according to reports in Germany.
Cologne-based newspaper Express claims the Bundesliga 2 table-toppers are looking to lure the 2016 World Cup winner back to Germany.
Durm signed a one-year contract when he joined Town last summer, with the club having the option to extend for a further year.
But the Terriers are unlikely to exercise that option after relegation, leaving the 26-year-old to become a free agent this summer.
Durm missed the entire season before he joined Huddersfield through injury but has proven his fitness in the Premier League, starting 19 of his 26 appearances for the club.
