Wagner won't say if Town want Japan star
Terriers boss David Wagner refused to confirm whether the club have seen an offer turned down for Leicester forward Shinji Okazaki.
Huddersfield were reported to be among a number of Premier League clubs to have approached the Foxes about their 2016 Premier League-winning striker.
Okazaki, who is out of contract at the end of the season, wants to stay in Europe in order to secure a place in the Japan squad for the World Cup in Qatar in 2022.
But Wagner refused to be drawn on the subject when quizzed at his media briefing on Thursday.
"There is nothing significant to say where there is something around the corner," he said. "I don't like to comment on any individual names. It makes no sense, we have to be patient, all the players are not our players."
