Chilwell targeted by City
Ben Chilwell has caught Man City boss Pep Guardiola's eye and a summer move for the Leicester City left-back could be on the cards.
The England international has become the first-choice in his position for the Foxes in the last 18 months and his consistency has drawn admiring glances from elsewhere, with City boss Guardiola said to be particularly interested.
Reports say the Spanish coach could target the 22-year-old in the summer transfer window due to long-term fitness concerns over Benjamin Mendy at the Etihad.
Chilwell only recently signed a new, long-term deal with the Foxes, that runs until the summer of 2024, but there is no doubt his head would be turned by interest from Premier League champions City, who would easily be able to afford the asking price, likely to be in the region of £30million.
Oleksandr Zinchenko and Fabian Delph are other options for City at left-back so a summer bid for Chilwell is by no means a foregone conclusion.
The defender has made 76 senior appearances for Leicester, scoring once, so far.
