Foxes face fight for Phaeton
Leicester have been linked with a move for Guingamp's Matthias Phaeton in January although Stoke City may provide competition.
The 18-year-old, who garnered interest from both Tottenham and Juventus last March, has been at Stade de Roudourou since January 2017, operating in the reserve team before making his first-team debut in a 5-0 Ligue 1 loss to FC Nantes on November 4 last year.
The former France Under-17 ace has made four Ligue 1 appearances for Guingamp to date but has only 52 minutes of football under his belt, starting each game on the bench.
Nevertheless, he seems to have attracted the Foxes, according to French outlet RMC Sport, with reports that the East Midlanders have made an enquiry.
The Potters are also thought to be keen but the fact Gary Rowett has just been sacked as manager might end their interest in the rangy forward.
RMC claim Guingamp are hoping to negotiate a deal for Phaeton to stay but would accept around 800k euros for the player if any potential suitor is willing to take a punt.
