Leicester manager praises defender Evans
Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers believes Jonny Evans would still be on the books at Manchester United were it not for injuries.
Evans spent nine years with United after coming through the Old Trafford youth system before joining West Brom in 2015.
The 31-year-old, who moved to the Foxes last summer, struggled with injury earlier in his career and only managed over 20 Premier League appearances in two seasons with United.
Rodgers has been impressed with the defender since he took charge earlier this season after Claude Puel's sacking.
"Jonny Evans is an outstanding player," said Rodgers. "If it wasn't for his injuries he had when he was young he would probably be still playing at Manchester United.
"He is a top-class defender and we have seen him come here, especially for the fee he came for [£3.5millon], I thought Leicester have done really well."
