Maguire move claims rubbished

22nd July 2019, 15:10 by Simon Barlow

Reports on Sunday which suggested Leicester City had agreed an £80m deal with Manchester United for Harry Maguire have been rubbished.

Bleacher Report's Dean Jones claimed United were "finally agreeing terms on the £80m Maguire deal" and several other news sources quickly picked up on it.

It was the second time in a matter of days that the England centre-back was said to be heading to Old Trafford with Transfer Window podcast pundit Ian McGarry having earlier claimed that Maguire had left the Leicester training camp to come back to the UK to undergo a medical at Manchester United.

Reports from Leicester on Monday suggest nothing has changed with Maguire still very much a Foxes player and time running out for United, or anyone else, to secure an agreement.
