Maguire ready to face Reds
Defender Harry Maguire is fit following a leg injury and is ready to start Leicester's clash at Liverpool on Wednesday.
Maguire is available to boost boss Claude Puel for the tough trip to Anfield and the Foxes boss has no other fresh injury or suspension worries for the game, although long-term absentee Daniel Amartey remains sidelined with an ankle injury.
Puel knows just how important Maguire is to his side's chances of getting anything against the Reds.
The Foxes boss was asked about Maguire's progress and also Liverpool centre-back Virgil van Dijk, who he knows from his time in charge of Southampton.
Puel said: "At Liverpool, (Van Dijk) has took another dimension. He is a fantastic player. My feeling about him doesn't change with Liverpool. He is strong, powerful, fast, technical, he can play under pressure without a problem. It is fantastic.
"At Southampton he was the best defender in the world, but he confirmed it I think with Liverpool."
While on Maguire, he added: "I hope Harry can follow the same way. Harry has also different attributes but a lot of aspects in his play to become a fantastic defender.
"He is a very good defender and can become one of the best in the world if he continues to improve."
