Pereira urges Foxes creativity
Leicester defender Ricardo Pereira was satisfied with Sunday's goalless draw against Wolves but wants more creativity going forward.
The Foxes picked up a point in their season opener, with Wolves having a goal chalked off courtesy of VAR.
It was a frustrating afternoon for the King Power faithful, with the hosts enjoying the majority of possession but unable to penetrate a stubborn Wolves rearguard.
However, Brendan Rodgers' side came away with something to show for their efforts and that was a positive for Pereira.
"It's always important to keep the clean sheet, we're closer to winning if we do that," he told LCFC TV. "For us defenders, not only us but also the team, it's important and it's a good start.
"It was difficult to defend well with a block on and it was compact and difficult to get through."
Next up for Leicester is a trip to take on Frank Lampard's Chelsea next Sunday, with the Blues looking to bounce back after their humbling at Old Trafford.
Pereira hopes that the East Midlanders can improve in the final third at Stamford Bridge and finally get on the score sheet this season.
"We had some difficulties; we had a lot of the ball, but we have to create more chances and it's important to score and create opportunities for that," he added.
