Puel plays down Tielemans talk
Claude Puel has played down suggestions that Leicester are interested in signing Monaco midfielder Youri Tielemans.
Belgium international Tielemans, who represented his country at last summer's World Cup, has reportedly been on Leicester's radar for some time and it is believed he would be open to a switch to the Premier League.
However, speaking ahead of the Foxes' clash with Liverpool on Wednesday, Puel was quick to play down those links by insisting he is happy with his options in midfield, particularly as it seems Adrien Silva will now be staying with the club.
"He is a good player. He has got good attributes but I have Adrien [Silva]," Puel told reporters when asked about Tielemans. "For the moment it is just speculation. We have a squad with some players with a desire for more game time."
One midfielder that could leave Leicester over the coming days is Andy King, with Puel confirming he is trying to find a solution for the long-serving Welshman, who is yet to feature in the Premier League this season.
"We wait and we hope we find a solution for Andy because he works hard in training and tries his best," Puel added.
"He has a professional attitude and I would like to find a solution [for him] to get game time. I have a lot of respect for Andy and it will be a good opportunity for him."
