Smeets expecting Tielemans to deliver the goods
Youri Tielemans' agent, Peter Smeets, insists his client is out to showcase his ability at Leicester following his January move.
The Belgium international decided to leave Ligue 1 strugglers Monaco on deadline day after Leicester agreed a loan move with the French club.
Tielemans is widely regarded as one of the best young footballers in the world and he played in every Champions League game for Monaco before the end of 2018.
The January arrival of Cesc Fabregas put pressure on him and Smeets insists he wanted to prove he could play in England.
“When a new opportunity arises, you need to listen to it," Smeets told France Football.
"A great player can’t be scared about making decisions. It’s a new challenge that motivates him, but he remains a Monaco player."
The 21-year-old is expected to make his debut this weekend when Claude Puel’s troops travel to Wembley to face Tottenham.
