Coutinho could still make Liverpool return
Liverpool are still being kept updated by Philippe Coutinho's situation with his future at Barcelona still unresolved.
The Reds saw their most prized asset at the time move to the Catalonia club in January 2018 for an initial fee of £105million.
However, his time with Barcelona has proved to be something of a disappointment, as he only scored five goals in 33 La Liga games last season, after eight in 18 during his first half season at the Nou Camp.
The summer has seen the Brazilian, who has just won the Copa America with his country, linked with moves to PSG and Manchester United.
But fresh reports suggest Liverpool are still continuing to look closely at the player's situation, as Jurgen Klopp plans to further strengthen his squad in order to challenge Manchester City for the Premier League title again.
Barcelona may be forced to let go of Coutinho to balance the books, as they chase deals for Atletico Madrid's Antoine Griezmann and former star Neymar.
