Klopp not thinking of Bundesliga return

7th April 2019, 13:26 by Simon Barlow

Jurgen Klopp admits he still follows Borussia Dortmund's results and no one should think about him leaving Liverpool for Bayern Munich.

The ex-Dortmund boss told German newspaper Die Welt am Sonntag that he has been following his old club's title challenge this season.

"I follow Borussia still very closely. [Last weekend] when training was over, my assistant Piet Krawietz came over immediately," Klopp said.

"He grinned broadly and said: 'Dortmund won 2-0, in Freiburg [as Bayern drew 1-1]. We are with them completely, if BVB plays. That has not changed. That will always be the case."

Legendary ex-Bayern captain Franz Beckenbauer has spoken of his wish to see Klopp in charge of his former club one day, but the Anfield boss is in no rush to go back to the Bundesliga.

"I have a contract in Liverpool until 2022," he said.

"And no one here has the feeling that we should dissolve it. So no one has to think about it."
