Klopp looking forward to Barca test
Liverpool were not at their best against Porto says Jurgen Klopp, who is now looking forward to facing the might of Barcelona.
Liverpool will face the Catalan giants, who disposed of Manchester United, in the Champions League semi-finals after crushing Porto 4-1 away to seal a 6-1 aggregate triumph.
Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Virgil van Dijk netted for the Premier League leaders after they had held off the ambitions of Porto in the first half and then scored three times in the final half an hour.
Klopp says Liverpool were not at their best but was happy to get the job done and is now looking forward to facing Barca.
"We played better this season," Klopp said after the game. "It was always going to be a whirlwind here and that was what it was. In the second half, the energy level dropped for Porto and we could control the game and score the goals.
"We are more experienced, that is clear. We had difficult away games and we knew it would be the same as at City and Roma last year. It is all good. A difficult game but we go to the semi-finals.
"It is first time for me to play Barcelona, apart from in friendlies. I am looking forward to that."
