Polish ace to snub Liverpool switch
Piotr Zielinski has ruled out a move to Liverpool after insisting he is fully committed to Italian club Napoli.
The Polish midfielder is known to be high on Jurgen Klopp's wanted list following some impressive performances for the Serie A side, but a deal looks unlikely at this stage.
Liverpool were linked with a January swoop but failed to agree a deal and Zielinski ended up staying in Naples, where he is tied to a long-term contract.
Reports claim there is a release clause in the deal that makes him available for 65million euros but it remains to be seen if Liverpool would be willing to go that high.
Even so, the player is not interested in a move and sees himself being with Carlo Ancelotti's men for the next five years at least.
"New contract? I am happy at Napoli, I want to stay here five more years to help the team to improve," Zielinski said when quizzed about his future.
