Robertson feels Liverpool full of confidence
Andy Robertson says Liverpool are full of confidence as they prepare for Sunday's Merseyside derby with Everton at Goodison Park.
The Reds had drawn four of their previous five games across all competitions heading into Wednesday's Premier League clash with Watford, but an emphatic 5-0 victory over the Hornets appears to suggest they have returned to top form.
Scotland international Robertson was certainly pleased with how Liverpool performed and has urged the side to take that form into Sunday's trip across Stanley Park.
"Watford are flying just now and we have beaten a good side tonight. We got a point at (Manchester) United and now hopefully go into the Everton game full of confidence," he said.
Everton warmed up for the 284th Merseyside derby by beating Cardiff 3-0 on Tuesday and Robertson knows Liverpool will be in for a tough afternoon against Marco Silva's team.
He added: "We know how hard that game is going to be, especially at Goodison Park. We need to be at our best."
Liverpool are unbeaten in their last 18 matches against Everton - a run that includes their 1-0 victory at Anfield earlier this season when Divock Origi grabbed the only goal of the game during second-half stoppage time.
