Citizens to assess midfielder

19th April 2019, 09:52 by Bobbie Jackson

Fernandinho is set to be handed a late fitness test ahead of Manchester City's clash with Tottenham on Saturday.

The Brazilian has been struggling with a minor muscular issue and was restricted to an appearance from the bench against Spurs in midweek.

He came on in the second half as Tottenham knocked City out of the Champions League in dramatic fashion at the Etihad.

Left-back Oleksandr Zinchenko could also return to the squad if he can prove his fitness following a hamstring injury.
