City to face Spurs in Champions League
Man City will face English opposition in the Champions League quarter-finals for the second year running after being drawn with Spurs.
The Citizens were eliminated at the last-eight stage by Liverpool last season so will be aiming to avoid the same fate after Friday's draw saw them paired with Spurs.
City, who have won the last three encounters with the Londoners, romped through the last-16 stage, hammering Schalke 7-0 at home to record a 10-2 aggregate triumph over the Germans.
While Tottenham's domestic form has dipped, they were very impressive when dispatching Borussia Dortmund 4-0 on aggregate in the previous of Europe's premier club competition.
With the two teams due to meet in the Premier League on April 20, it means City and Spurs will play each other three times in the space of 10 days.
The winners of the quarter-final clash will take on the winner of the Juventus against Ajax quarter-final.
In the other half of the draw, Manchester United will take on Spanish champions Barcelona, with the winner to meet either Liverpool or Porto in the semi-finals of the competition.
The first legs are to be played on April 9 and 10, with the semi-finals taking place on April 30 and May 1.
