Injury boost for Zinchenko
Oleksandr Zinchenko is set to return to training in the next few days after recovering from his hamstring injury.
The Manchester City left-back picked up a strain in the recent 2-0 victory over Cardiff City at the Etihad, having started the previous six games for his club.
Zinchenko is understood to be feeling much better and medical staff are now poised to give him the go-ahead to step up his return after the weekend.
It's unlikely the 22-year-old will be available for next week's Champions League second leg tie at home to Tottenham Hotspur, with the north Londoners holding a slender 1-0 advantage.
However, the Ukraine international is believed to be eyeing the vital derby clash against rivals Manchester United at Old Trafford on April 24.
Zinchenko's impressive form had seen him preferred to both Fabian Delph and Benjamin Mendy, prior to his injury lay-off, while he'd also been offered a new contract by the club.
