Wan-Bissaka grabs Pep's attention
Crystal Palace defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka has impressed Pep Guardiola this season and Man City scouts have been sent to watch him.
The highly-rated 21-year-old has been a stand-out figure for the Eagles this season and reports have already linked Chelsea with a £50m summer bid for the talented starlet.
However, Manchester City insiders have claimed Guardiola was "very impressed" by right-back Wan-Bissaka during last month's shock 3-2 home defeat to Roy Hodgson's side.
It's understood Guardiola felt the England Under-21 player was able to match his flying winger Leroy Sane, who has terrorised the majority of his markers this season.
Palace are making it clear their academy graduate is going nowhere, but Guardiola continues to have one eye towards the future when it comes to his own squad.
There are also increasing concerns over right-back Kyle Walker's form this term, having been dropped by Guardiola earlier this month.
Brazil international Danilo is the present back-up to Walker, although Wan-Bissaka, who is contracted until 2022 at Selhurst Park, is rapidly being seen in the corridors of power as perfect for City's own distinctive style of play.
