French ace offered to United
According to sources at Old Trafford, Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot has been offered to Manchester United.
The France international has been frozen out at his club after rejecting a new deal and can quit the wealthy Ligue 1 outfit on a free transfer this summer.
The likes of Barcelona and Tottenham Hotspur have both been linked to the classy 24-year-old, who actually had a brief spell in Manchester City's junior ranks, before returning to his homeland.
United insiders have stated Rabiot's camp have been in contact and intimated he would jump at the chance to join the Red Devils, who are on the lookout for an additional midfielder if Juan Mata decides to move on in the next few months.
It is not known if caretaker Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is a fan of the player and the Norwegian may yet have other targets in mind, should he be installed as United's permanent boss in the coming weeks.
Another potential hurdle is Rabiot's huge financial demands which, along with a massive signing-on fee, includes wages of £200,000-per-week, although United can always find the cash for the right player.
