Lozano to United reports rubbished

11th July 2018, 15:30 by Simon Barlow

Reports in Mexico claim Manchester United are not contemplating a bid for PSV Eindhoven winger Hirving 'Chucky' Lozano this summer.

Marca Claro claim a 'source close to the English club' has told them United are not currently one of the talented El Tri star's suitors following his impressive displays at the World Cup.

Reports in Italy, picked up in the UK, had claimed the Red Devils were keen on Lozano and some even went as far to say a big-money bid was being lined up for the current transfer window.

But United already possess a wealth of attacking talent, having added Alexis Sanchez to their ranks only in January.

Lozano, 22, has also been linked to Arsenal after an impressive campaign for Dutch champions PSV - where he scored 17 goals and added eight assists in 29 Eredivisie matches.
