Martial, Lingard could face Reds
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is optimistic Jesse Lingard and Anthony Martial will be fit to face Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday.
England international Lingard picked up a hamstring injury during United's Champions League defeat to Paris Saint-Germain earlier this month and he had been tipped to be sidelined for three weeks, but it appears he has made a quicker than expected recovery.
France ace Martial injured his groin in the same match but Solskjaer has now delivered a positive update on both players ahead of this weekend's big clash at Old Trafford.
"Jesse is looking OK. I hope with Anthony," Solskjaer told reporters. "Anthony's was a different muscle, so we think he might be ready and hope that Jesse will.
"We've got two more days so they've got to get through these two sessions. They've not been part of training yet but they've been doing some recovery work."
United have no other fresh injury concerns, although Antonio Valencia, Matteo Darmian and Marcos Rojo are all still a couple of weeks away from returning.
