Martial facing race against time

1st February 2019, 07:05 by Alex Jack

Fresh from signing a new contract at Manchester United, Anthony Martial faces a battle to be fit for Sunday's match with Leicester.

The France international has been struggling with a minor knock which meant he missed the 2-2 draw with Burnley in United's last Premier League outing in midweek.

With a trip to King Power Stadium to come this weekend, Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solksjaer is hoping to have the former Monaco star fit and ready to take on the Foxes.

United have been boosted by news defender Chris Smalling is fit once again and should start against Leicester, while Ander Herrera could also feature in the starting XI after Andreas Pereira struggled against the Clarets.
