MLS playmaker on United radar
Reports claim Manchester United sent a scout to watch DC United playmaker Luciano Acosta in action.
The Argentine was on the verge of moving to Europe in January after Paris Saint-Germain reportedly agreed a deal worth £8.6million.
However, the French side eventually pulled out on transfer deadline day and he has started the new season with his MLS club.
Acosta impressed last term with DC United, scoring 10 goals and registering 15 assists in 33 appearances, and he could be set to get his move to Europe in the summer.
Reports in the US state that United have sent a scout to cast an eye over his performances as they consider a swoop.
His contract with DC United is set to expire in December so he could be available on the cheap, although talks have begun over an extension.
