Pereira can play a part for us - OGS
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer won't let Andreas Pereira leave in January, saying he could play a role for United later in the campaign.
The Brazilian had been linked with a move away from Old Trafford after struggling to get much playing time this season.
But Pereira is one of a number of young players who Solskjaer believes will play a part in the future of the club.
"I cannot see him going out on loan because Andreas is going fantastic in training," said the Norwegian on Monday.
"He is a player that you could see playing quite a few games for us towards the end of the season."
Solskjaer, who has won eight out of eight matches since taking caretaker charge of the club, is not expecting much movement in the transfer window for United.
"At the moment, I can see everyone staying at the club because no deal has been done with anyone I think but then again there is still a few more days," he told reporters.
"But I am not too involved in the negotiations so whatever happens, happens.
"It will be good to get the window closed so we can just focus on the squad and just improving the ones that stay here."
