United hitman should stay put – Berbatov
Romelu Lukaku should ignore interest from Inter Milan and stay at Manchester United, according to former striker Dimitar Berbatov.
Lukaku hasn't been able to win over all of the United fans since completing a £75million move from Everton in the summer of 2017.
Inter Milan are eager to offer Lukaku a route out of Old Trafford but reports claim their latest bid of £53.9million has been rejected.
Berbatov, who played for United between 2008 and 2012, has offered his support to the Belgian and feels he should get his head down and prove his worth with the Premier League club.
"I think he [Lukaku] should stay, I like him and I don't agree with all the criticism he gets," Berbatov said to Sky Sports.
"He has some areas he needs to work, like every player, but his team-mates need to help him as well.
"For example, if I'm a midfield player, and I play with him, I should know how to pass him the ball, when to pass him the ball, which foot to pass him the ball.
"I think Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is the good coach for him, because if Lukaku needed to ask something [to] the coach, he can go ask him.
"Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was a great striker so if you need striker advice, you should go to him."
