United respect Dortmund's Sancho warning
Old Trafford insiders say Borussia Dortmund's hands-off message on winger Jadon Sancho has been received "loud and clear".
Manchester United chiefs are said to have made the England starlet a priority signing, with reports that his increasing army of admirers could go as high as £100m to make it a reality this summer.
However, it is understood there has been a quick acknowledgement, certainly inside the corridors of power at the Theatre of Dreams, that Dortmund do not need to cash in on Sancho at the end of this campaign.
The Red Devils enjoy a strong relationship with their counterparts at the Westfalenstadion, and certainly do not want to jeapordise their future chances of acquiring the former Manchester City academy graduate by pushing too hard.
Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc stated last week: "Jadon will play for Borussia Dortmund next season and we are definitely planning with him.
"I am far from putting a price tag on Jadon, but I maintain that his transfer would be hard to beat even for the biggest clubs in the world at the moment."
Sancho, 18, has been a revelation in the Bundesliga this season, managing nine goals and 12 assists, with United prepared to bide their time if it ultimately helps in their desire to bring him back to Manchester.
