United target £50m Hammers ace
Manchester United are lining up a bid to try and lure Declan Rice away from West Ham United in the summer, reports claim.
Rice has shot to prominence for the Hammers this season with his impressive performances earning him a place in the England side for the recent Euro 2020 qualifiers.
The Hammers are now said to be bracing themselves for interest, with Reds boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reported to be keen on bringing the youngster to Old Trafford in a £50million deal.
The Norwegian is expected to be handed a huge transfer kitty and some of it could go on Rice, who would no doubt be tempted to leave West Ham if an approach was made.
The London outfit are in a strong position though as Rice is tied down to a long-term deal and they will be under no pressure to sell.
The 20-year-old is also said to be a target for arch rivals Manchester City and it would come as no surprise if West Ham's resolve was tested when the transfer window re-opens in a couple of months.
