United to start fresh contract talks with De Gea
Manchester United are set to reopen contract discussions with David de Gea's representatives, reports claim.
Spain international De Gea has been in sensational form for the Red Devils once again this season and his impressive performances have helped the club into the quarter-final stages of the Champions League.
The 28-year-old goalkeeper continues to be linked with a move away from Old Trafford, with the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain keeping an eye on his current situation.
However, the club's upturn in form and results since the arrival of interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is believed to have persuaded the shot-stopper to stay and an extension is expected to be signed.
United, who are also in contention for a top-four finish this season, are set to reopen talks with De Gea's representatives as they look to wrap up a new deal before the end of the current campaign.
It is claimed the Spaniard is looking for a bumper pay rise that will see his wages increase from £200,000-per-week to £350,000.
