Wan-Bissaka watched by United
Manchester United scouts watched highly-rated Crystal Palace right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka at Burnley, according to reports.
The Red Devils only signed Portuguese starlet Diogo Dalot from Porto last summer, so their Turf Moor spying mission to see the 21-year-old Eagles' defender is a bit of a surprise.
Wan-Bissaka has been out injured recently but gave a timely reminder of his talent with an impressive display in the 3-1 victory over the Clarets, which moved Roy Hodgson's team further away from relegation danger.
The Londoner has won more tackles this season - 71 from 103 attempted - than any other player in Europe's top five leagues - further giving rise to United's interest.
United insiders have stated the club feel they cannot ignore such a homegrown talent, with veteran right-back Antonio Valencia out of contract and heading for the Old Trafford exit door in the next few months.
However, they know they are currently playing catch-up to neighbours Manchester City, who are planning to spend big again this summer and are not being put off by Palace's £50m valuation of their defensive starlet.
