Hayden expecting Almiron to cause damage
Newcastle United's Isaac Hayden has been impressed by new signing Miguel Almiron in his first few weeks at the club.
The Magpies splashed the cash to sign the Paraguay international in January, with Newcastle paying £20million to break their club-record transfer fee.
Newcastle fans have only seen him in action for 20 minutes after he stepped off the bench during the draw with Wolves.
He is now set to feature against Huddersfield Town on Saturday and Hayden admits he has been impressed by him in training.
"It's difficult because we haven't really got players who can make the difference by themselves," Hayden told the Chronicle when asked if Almiron will make the difference.
"We're more a team who works hard and sticks to the gameplan and help each other out, stick together, stuff like that.
"We maybe need someone who is more of a dribbler with some extra pace, they can maybe make the difference. Playing off Ronny [Rondon] too, it will make a massive difference and all the players that can get off him up front will cause damage."
