Lejeune - I am back in the group
Newcastle United star Florian Lejeune has hinted that he could feature in the Premier League meeting against Manchester United.
Lejeune has yet to play for the Magpies this season after suffering a knee injury during pre-season.
The Frenchman suffered a cruciate ligament injury last summer but he has worked his way back into contention in just five months.
He featured for the club's U23's team last month and managed to play 45 minutes before being replaced.
Lejeune has been ready to return since before the Watford game on December 29, but he has hinted that his return is now likely to come against the Red Devils.
He tweeted: "Back in the group. What a wonderful way to start 2019."
Boss Rafa Benitez could be without Federico Fernandez for Wednesday's game, but Lejeune is still expected to start the contest on the bench.
