Sorensen frustration grows for Toon
Newcastle United are thought to becoming even more frustrated over Elias Sorensen's loan spell with League One side Blackpool.
Striker Sorensen has only played 32 minutes for the Tangerines since making the loan move from St James' Park to Bloomfield Road.
Representatives of Newcastle were thought to have been sent to see Blackpool's 2-2 draw with Southend United at the weekend but Sorensen was not even named on the bench.
Manager Rafael Benitez has already had his say on the matter and has indicated he was not part of the process that saw Sorensen make the move to Lancashire.
"I'm not happy with the fact that he was not playing games, but at the same time I don't know what was going on when we did the deal," he said.
"It's something difficult for me."
Sorensen could now be on the verge of a return to Newcastle to continue his development with the reserves instead.
