Toon consider Fraser bid
Newcastle are reportedly planning a cash-plus-player move for Bournemouth winger Ryan Fraser.
The Scot has scored seven goals and provided 11 assists this season and has recently been linked with a move to Arsenal.
Fraser's direct style of play would likely endear him to the Toon Army and reports are suggesting the Magpies are keen to seek a deal for his services.
While no asking price has been set, it is thought a Newcastle player would head in the opposite direction and the man being mentioned is Matt Ritchie.
Ritchie joined the Tynesiders from the Cherries in 2016 and after helping the club win promotion from the Championship at the first time of asking, has been a regular ever since.
However, the 29-year-old's angry reaction to being substituted at times this season is believed to have irked Rafael Benitez and he could be made available.
The wideman, himself a Scotland international, could be open to a change of scenery and the fact he could slot back in if Fraser were to leave may persuade the Cherries to open negotiations.
