Swansea starlets get international chance

16th May 2018, 18:48 by Simon Barlow

Swansea City's Connor Roberts, Dan James and Joe Rodon have been included in the squad for Wales' friendly against Mexico this month.

22-year-old Roberts, who is on the fringes of the Swans senior squad, will be looking to add to the first cap he won against Uruguay in March at the China Cup.

Central defender Rodon and winger James, both 20, will hope to feature at senior international level for the first time.

Wales boss Ryan Giggs is without the likes of Neil Taylor, Ben Woodburn, James Chester, Joe Allen and Gareth Bale for the friendly match against El Tri, to be played in Los Angeles, so has included a number of uncapped youngsters.
