Alli out but Spurs talisman nearing return
Dele Alli has been ruled out of Tottenham's trip to Burnley on Saturday but star striker Harry Kane is close to a comeback.
Alli remains injured with a hamstring problem and is nearing a return to action, but the trip to Turf Moor this weekend will come too soon for the England intentional.
Meanwhile, Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino will decide whether or not to use Kane against the Clarets, with the Three Lions skipper finally over the ankle injury picked up against Manchester United on January 13.
Defender Danny Rose will be assessed before kick-off as he has been laid low with illness.
Spurs are on a hot run of form at the moment and will be looking for their sixth win on the bounce when they face a Clarets side unbeaten in their last seven Premier League outings.
