Inter want Tottenham star

11th April 2019, 05:47 by Michael Holland

Inter Milan are the latest club to show an interest in Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen.

The Dane continues to be a revelation for Spurs and has been heavily linked with the likes of Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona over the last 12 months or so.

Italian giants Inter are now reported to be keeping tabs on him after their transfer supremo Piero Ausilio was spotted at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Tuesday night to watch the Champions League clash with Manchester City.

Eriksen was the player under the spotlight and it is thought Inter could try and lure him away at some point.

Spurs are obviously desperate to keep hold but the fact that the playmaker has just over a year remaining on his contract, makes things slightly difficult.

Tottenham want him to pen fresh terms, but any kind of delay is sure to spark speculation over his future and could force the club to make a decision in the close season.
