Lo Celso linked to Tottenham and Man City
Spurs and Manchester City are reportedly keen on Giovani Lo Celso with Real Betis prepared to sign him and make an instant profit.
But the Premier League clubs could face a battle with La Liga giants Barcelona and Real Madrid for the signature of 22-year-old midfielder, who has been on loan with Betis from Paris Saint-Germain this season.
The Argentina international's performances have been impressive and Betis are expected to take up their purchase option, which was agreed last summer.
But the prospect of making a quick profit on the player has been raised in the Spanish media as the interest of Premier League clubs is expected to drive Lo Celso's price skyward.
Marca understand Betis will complete a permanent deal for the midfielder at the end of the season and look to sell him to the highest bidder. with a figure of £52million apparently plucked out of thin air.
Lo Celso is the sort of player Spurs should be looking at and could be a potential replacement for Christian Eriksen if Tottenham cave in to any of the bids they are likely to receive for the Dane later this year.
