Midfielder linked with Spurs
Tottenham are being linked with a summer move for Barcelona midfielder Andre Gomes and will try and beat Everton to his signiture.
The midfielder has been on loan at Goodison Park from the Catalan giants this season and has been in impressive form, especially in the second half of the campaign.
The Toffees are expected to make the move permanent at the end of the season, but Spurs are set to go in with a £30m offer to try and pinch him from under their noses.
Boss Mauricio Pochettino knows he has to add to his midfield, following the departure of Mousa Dembele and the continued speculation over the future of Christian Eriksen, and has apparently decided to move for Gomes.
Gomes himself remains non-committal over his future and, when asked recently, said: "To be honest, I try not to think about that. One thing football has given to me is teach me how to manage situations and how to enjoy it day by day."
