Rose hails Kane speach
Danny Rose says Harry Kane gave an inspirational team-talk in the Champions League semi-final against Ajax.
Spurs were three down on aggregate after conceding two first-half goals in Amsterdam and their season was in danger of petering out without a fight until the intervention of the England skipper.
Kane, who was absent from the game due to his ankle injury, ripped into the side at half time and inspired them to go on an achieve what looked like was impossible in the second half and win the tie.
Rose told talksport: "He mentioned that we were showing Frenkie de Jong too much respect and said 'who's the one that's going to get around him and show him that he's in for a game.
"He asked if we wanted our season to end like this and once Harry goes, he goes and he's very passionate.
"It's a great side to see because it shows he cares. He's got all these goals and accolades, but is never satisfied.
"He's a great England captain to have and a great club one, too."
Spurs will be hoping Kane can lead the players on the pitch when the meet Liverpool in the Champions League final in Madrid on June 1.
