Son not looking too far ahead - Son
Tottenham's Son Heung-min insists the focus is on Tuesday's Champions League match with Manchester City and not upcoming fixtures.
Spurs will welcome Pep Guardiola's side to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this week before travelling to the Etihad on Wednesday 17 April for the return leg of their quarter-final match-up in Europe's elite club competition.
Just three days later, Mauricio Pochettino's charges will return to Manchester to take on the Citizens once again, this time in the Premier League, with top-four spots still up for grabs.
With so many games against one of the strongest teams in Europe it would be easy to look too far ahead with one eye on the top four, but Son has made it clear that will not be the case.
"It's not important how many games we play against them," he told Monday's press conference. "It's important to take tomorrow's game first and show our focus and how we are improving over the season.
"Manchester City is a strong side. It will be a massive game and we should enjoy it and have fun against big sides in our unbelievable new stadium."
The north Londoners are third in the top flight but just a point clear of Arsenal and Chelsea, while Manchester United are three points adrift.
