Spurs make first move for Rebic
Tottenham have reportedly made an approach to Eintracht Frankfurt for highly-rated winger Ante Rebic.
Croatia international Rebic enjoyed a fine season with Frankfurt in the Bundesliga last term, scoring six goals in 25 Bundesliga appearances, while he also grabbed a brace in their 3-1 DFB-Pokal final triumph over Bayern Munich in May.
Rebic has continued that fine form at the World Cup with Croatia and his impressive performances have not gone unnoticed, with the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal, Napoli and Bayern all being accredited with an interest in his services.
However, it appears Spurs could be leading the race for the 24-year-old, as SportBild have claimed Mauricio Pochettino's side have already made contact with Frankfurt regarding a move for the player.
The former Fiorentina youngster is unlikely to come cheap, however, as it is believed Frankfurt have put a €50million price-tag on his head.
That could be enough to put Spurs off, although the North Londoners will need to step up their transfer negotiations soon, as they are yet to add to their squad this summer.
