Spurs rumours denied
Tottenham are keen on Porto midfielder Hector Herrera, but the player's agent has cooled all the rumours regards a move.
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is on the lookout for a new midfielder and has been linked with a swoop for the 28-year-old, who will be out of contract at the end of the season.
Tottenham are not the only club to be linked as arch rivals Arsenal, and a host of others are also said to be in the hunt, with a view to landing him on a free transfer.
However the player's agent Gabriel Moraes has hit out at all the speculation over his future and says nothing has been decided regards his client's next move.
“Last year he signed for Real Madrid," Moraes said. "Last month, for Inter and Roma. A few weeks ago, he was going to Tottenham, Arsenal and Galatasaray.
"Today it’s Atletico Madrid. There is nothing with anyone and it will not be decided anytime soon.”
Herrera is focusing on seeing the season out with Porto and will only make a decision in the summer.
