Tottenham join race for Magpies midfielder
Tottenham have joined the race to snap up Newcastle midfielder Isaac Hayden this summer, according to reports.
The 24-year-old joined Newcastle in the summer of 2016 and has emerged as a key figure in their ranks this term.
Hayden, who came through Arsenal's academy, has rejected the offer of a new contract and appears certain to leave St James' Park as he wants to be closer to his family in the south.
West Ham and Crystal Palace were understood to be battling it out for the £20million-rated star but they could be blown away by interest from Spurs, with Hayden likely to be interested in working under Mauricio Pochettino.
