West Brom starlet linked with Spurs
Tottenham are reported to be weighing up a move for West Bromwich Albion's young midfielder Rekeem Harper.
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is in the hunt for new midfielders this summer, particularly ones who can play a central role and reports suggest that Harper has emerged as a target.
The 18-year-old has played 13 times for the Baggies this season after coming through the club's academy ranks, and he has caught the eye with his performances, so much so Tottenham are planning a raid.
West Brom are desperate to keep hold and have moved quickly to open discussions regards a new deal after getting wind that Spurs are keen to lure him away.
Spurs have a couple of starlets already in their ranks in the form of Oliver Skipp and Luke Amos, but that will not stop them from pursuing a move for Harper this summer.
Much will depend on whether West Brom can win promotion to the Premier League as they will be in a much stronger position to fight off all interest if they do.
