Doucoure ruled out of Newcastle trip
Watford will be without Abdoulaye Doucoure for the FA Cup clash at Newcastle and he could also miss the league game with Tottenham.
Doucoure's future has been a constant thread of transfer speculation this month with both Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal said to be interested in the midfielder.
The Frenchman, 26, was a late withdrawal for Watford's stalemate against Burnley last weekend following a reported knee problem, and he will not feature in the fourth round of the FA Cup on Saturday.
"Last week when I spoke with the medical staff, they said that maybe in one or two days Doucoure could be available, but now we need to wait and give him more time," said boss Javi Gracia,.
"In the next two or three days he will be out of the team."
Asked if Doucoure is unlikely to feature for Watford's league match at Wembley, a day before the transfer window closes, Gracia replied: "I don't know because it depends on his evolution."
Craig Cathcart and Will Hughes are both available for the trip to St James' Park, but Kiko Femenia and Sebastian Prödl will miss out through injury.
Having made 11 changes for the third-round win against Woking, Gracia has indicated he will once again be rotating his squad for the clash at St James' Park.
