Gracia avoids Cornet question
Watford boss Javi Gracia has refused to be drawn on speculation linking the club with a move Lyon's Maxwel Cornet.
The Hornets chief has mainly had to deal with questions regarding Abdoulaye Doucoure's future this month but after confirming the Frenchman is still out with a knee problem, his latest press conference took a different direction.
Cornet has been linked with the Lyon exit door for some time, seeing a summer switch to Wolfsburg fall through, while Sevilla, Fulham and Wolves are also thought to be monitoring his situation.
The 22-year-old has found himself down the pecking order behind Nabil Fekir, Memphis Depay, Bertrand Traore and Moussa Dembele, and he is thought to be ready to leave Les Gones after making just 15 appearances this season.
Reports in France say Lyon are lining up Schalke's Amine Harit as a replacement after opening talks with Watford.
However, Gracia was unwilling to be drawn on the speculation at Thursday's press conference, insisting he was unaware of the alleged discussions.
Gracia said: "I don't want to say something about players that I don't know anything about. I prefer to focus on our players and to do my job."
