Gray still hurting from Bournemouth blitz
Watford striker Andre Gray says the loss to Bournemouth still hurts and there is a determination to make amends against Wolves.
The Hornets were thrashed 4-0 at home by the Cherries in the Premier League last weekend and, due to the ongoing international break, still have over a week to go before they can try to put things right.
Gray says he cannot explain how things went so badly wrong against Bournemouth, admitting the visitors to Vicarage Road took full advantage of Christian Kabasele's first-half red card as they ran out comfortable winners.
The ex-Burnley striker says the result still stings but there is a focus among those players not on international duty to produce a response when they face Wolves on October 20.
"We know going there will be difficult, but we know what we are capable of in that dressing room and it's down to us," Gray told the Watford website. "We need to put it right. It doesn't get any easier, does it, playing Wolves, but we know we can go there and get a result."
