Holebas ready for United game

29th March 2019, 11:58 by Jack Ogalbe

Watford look set to include Jose Holebas for Saturday's trip to Manchester United, while there could also be changes in midfield.

The Greek left-back was forced off during the FA Cup quarter-final win over Crystal Palace with an ankle injury, but, after a fortnight of recovery, is in contention to make his 26th appearance of the season at Old Trafford.

However, Tom Cleverley will not feature against his former club due to a calf problem and is also in danger of missing next weekend's last four game against Wolves.

Boss Javi Gracia has hinted that could persuade him to change his usual shape and include an extra central midfielder alongside Etienne Capoue and Abdoulaye Doucoure.

The Spaniard says both Nathaniel Chalobah and Domingos Quina are under consideration for a starting spot after impressing in training.

He said: "Always it is bad news to lose a good player, but we have other good players waiting for their chances. Domingos and Chalo are training really well and they are ready to show their level."
