Hornets bossing race for Brahimi
Reports claim Watford are at the front of the queue to sign winger Yacine Brahimi from Portuguese club FC Porto in the summer.
Brahimi has been with the Dragoes since 2014 and made 187 appearances in all competitions, scoring 47 goals.
However, he will fall out of contract at Estadio do Dragao in the summer and is set to leave on a free transfer, with plenty of clubs willing to take on the Algeria international.
However, according to Calcio Mercato, the Hornets are winning the race for his signature of the former Clermomt, Rennes and Granada ace.
Premier League giants Arsenal plus Italian outfit Inter Milan have also been linked although Inter are said to have other targets and will only move for the talented schemer if they cannot land their first choices.
Having played for the France age-group sides, the Paris-born ace switched allegiance to Algeria in 2013 and has earned 39 caps, scoring 11 times and he played a full part in the 2014 World Cup until his nation was knocked out by Germany at the last-16 stage.
